Who We Are
Triad Cultural Arts, Inc. (TCA) was founded in 2007 as a nonprofit, community based, multi-disciplinary cultural arts organization. A leader in bringing recognition to Black American history and culture, TCA is dedicated to presenting programming that contributes to a culturally competent community so that significant and lasting improvements can be made in our society.
What We Do
Triad Cultural Arts sponsors culturally immersive experiences including festivals, tours, and special events are sponsored to preserve, interpret and exhibit the heritage of Black Americans - for all people.
African American Heritage Tours
Visit touchstones of the Black American experience! Tours features some of the region’s most treasured and historical gems!
Festivals
Engage in gatherings that are filled with transformative history and culture!
The Juneteenth Festival, a celebration of freedom, is held the third Saturday in June at Innovation Quarters/Bailey Park. Lots of volunteers are needed. Connect – Triad Cultural Arts, Inc. to sign up!
Kwanzaa, a celebration of family, culture, and community, is held Dec 26 - Jan 1.
Classes and Special Events
An array of classes and special events are offered at various venues, ranging from period history to dance, music, and visual art!
