Mission: Family Services is a nonprofit organization serving Forsyth County (NC) by providing professional services and participating in partnerships that foster the development of children, advance the safety, security, and success of families and individuals, and help build a sustainable community. Vision: We envision our community working together to ensure that all families and children are safe, secure and able to reach their full potential.

Since 1905, Family Services has been providing high-quality, evidence-based programs that help families navigate crises, protect survivors of violence and assault, and ensure young children are prepared to thrive in school and life.

We provide a full continuum of support so individuals and families can reach their full potential, including: high-quality early childhood services (birth to age 5); crisis hotlines, safety planning, and emergency shelter; and court advocacy, counseling, protective services, and comprehensive wrap-around resources. Together, these create pathways to safety, stability, and long-term emotional and financial well-being.
