Nehemiah Community Empowerment Center, Inc.

We are a community-based organization focused on providing opportunities for at-risk youth, teens and adults to STEM, robotic and IT career exploration.  Our mission is to enrich and empower at-risk youth, teens and young adults to these lucrative fields, thereby creating career awareness and developing a pipeline of minorities in these fields.

We provide academic enrichment, STEM, Information Technology and Robotic Exploration for the communities we serve. Also, we are the workforce development service provider and OJT for young offenders in the court system for Guilford County.  

We provide soft and hard skills training to prepare a more qualified and competitive workforce.  Resume writing, interviewing techniques, setting career goals and financial literacy is covered.  Also, hands-on apprenticeship training in PC Assembly.  Participants can pursue a Google IT Specialist certification.
