The City of Greensboro Water Resources Department seeks volunteers for its 2025 Water Festival on April 8, 2025, from 9 am to 1 pm at Barber Park. This event welcomes more than 500 Guilford County fifth-grade students for hands-on water education activities. We need volunteers to assist with various tasks throughout the event, including but not limited to:
- Morning of the Event Set-Up
- Parking and Registration
- Lunch Set-Up
- Group Leaders
- Water Station Attendants
- Time Keepers
- Runners
- End of the Event Cleanup
A few things to note:
- Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
- Lunch will be provided for volunteers.
- Volunteers will need to be on-site by 7 - 7:30 am. If volunteers are assisting with the end of the event cleanup, they will need to stay later than 1 pm.
- This will be a great opportunity to learn about various departments and careers within the City.
