Description

To make the most of our social responsibility efforts and move from a transactional to a transformational approach, a central component is relational equity. Love Out Loud will feature three organizations engaging communities and residents with purposeful and affirming approaches:  Asset-Based Community Development, Resident-Led Conversations, Relationships, andProximity. Join us for a dialogue about how these programs are blurring the lines between serving and served and creating transformation in our community through its passionate residents – and how you can be involved.

Come hear from Veronica Bitting of Neighbors for Better Neighborhoods, E-Jay Chandler of LIT City and Jessamyn Kirkwood of Crisis Control.

It’s all about RELATIONSHIP: Engaging Communities in Healthy Ways is one of several panels hosted at Venture Cafe this week.

What is Venture Cafe?

The weekly Venture Café Thursday Gathering serves as a physical nexus for helping innovators and entrepreneurs find one another and collaborate to bring their dreams to reality. These Thursday evening gatherings provide a space for conversations and scheduled programs to inspire a wide range of attendees from around the Piedmont Triad to connect.

The Café is open to all members of the innovation community who have ideas, talent, resources, and/or passion to contribute. Stop by to try it out. We look forward to meeting you!

How long will it last?

Venture Café is set up to begin at 5pm with an hour for networking and two sessions ( 6pm and 7pm). Our panel will typically be during the 6 pm session, but feel free to come early and check out more about what is going on. You can find out more about the evenings programming here https://www.venturecafewinstonsalem.org/thursday-gathering

Where do I park?

The gates on the lots just north of the BioTech at the intersection of Sixth and Patterson will be open for guest parking. There is also street parking throughout the Innovation Quarter.
