Mixxer is building a Community Garden. Join us to be a part of our team!
On January 25, 2020 we hosted 11 people that were attracted to the project. We asked them to tell us their visions for such a project and we came up with a list of things to consider.
On Saturday, February 22 at 9 am, we will hold another session to nail down the mission and vision for the community garden. We anticipate that we have a combination of plots for rent and community plots for education and sharing purposes. Have a better idea? Come tell us!
Future Community Garden MeetUps will include:
- Marketing and Admin Planning
- Design Planning
- Community Build Day (we're going to build this ourselves!)
- Adding the soil and soil testing
- Open House to show off your work
- Educational Programs
