Want to Serve for a Purpose?
Board members are essential to successful community outreach and advocacy. After Gateway is seeking leaders, professionals and community members who are passionate about the mission and participants of After Gateway. We desire individuals that are interested in fundraising, attending annual events, or educating the community about After Gateway. A desire to help is all the experience you need. If you know someone that has connections or networks in your community that can positively impact our board, please let us know - we will be glad to contact them. Board Member Responsibilities
• Attend board and committee meetings and special events (we have quarterly meetings, currently via Zoom)
• Know and understand the organization’s mission, services, policies, and programs
• Review meeting agendas and supporting materials before board and committee meetings
• Serve on committee task force as needed
• Make a personal financial contribution to the organization
• Inform others about the organization
• Keep up to date on the organization’s field of operations
• Follow conflict-of-interest and confidentiality policies
• Assist the Board in carrying out its fiduciary responsibilities, such as reviewing financial statements Organization: After Gateway Inc
