Position Summary:
Help provide nutritious food supply for elderly, disabled, low-income, disadvantaged, and homeless individuals and families by assisting with preparing food pantry boxes to prevent them from going hungry. Mondays and Fridays 10 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
- Prepare food pantry boxes for distribution
- Distribute food pantry boxes to clients on and off-site (as requested)
- Assist with cleanup at the end of shift
- Assignments vary and may require sitting, lifting and standing based on physical strength and abilities of the individual.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Compassionate
- Ability to work well as a team
- Ability to assist a diverse group of clients and serve them with respect and dignity
SUMMER
While students are out of school for the summer break, Love Center Food Pantry will accept applications for student volunteers 12 and up.
