Purpose of position: Camp-ins are an overnight experience where scouts work on a variety of badges. Volunteers assist in the evening with crafts and activities, food preparation and serving, and set-up/clean-up.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist staff where needed
- Help with set-up and clean-up of camp-ins
- Assist with crafts and activities
- Prepare and serve food
Training Required:
- New volunteer orientation
Shift Times:
Select Friday evenings in the spring and fall
Location:
North and Downtown
Qualifications:
- Ages 16 or older
- Comfortable speaking with the public, especially children and families
- Willingness to help wherever needed
- Strong communication skills
- Volunteers ages 18 or older must complete a background check
