Description

Purpose of position: Camp-ins are an overnight experience where scouts work on a variety of badges.  Volunteers assist in the evening with crafts and activities, food preparation and serving, and set-up/clean-up.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist staff where needed
  • Help with set-up and clean-up of camp-ins
  • Assist with crafts and activities
  • Prepare and serve food

Training Required:

  • New volunteer orientation

Shift Times:

Select Friday evenings in the spring and fall

Location:

North and Downtown

Qualifications:

  • Ages 16 or older
  • Comfortable speaking with the public, especially children and families
  • Willingness to help wherever needed
  • Strong communication skills
  • Volunteers ages 18 or older must complete a background check
