The Volunteer Janitor/Maintenance Assistant plays an important role in keeping the makerspace clean, safe, organized, and welcoming for all members and visitors.
Responsibilities include sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash and recycling, cleaning restrooms and common areas, wiping down work surfaces, organizing shared spaces, and reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
Volunteers may also assist with minor facility upkeep, such as changing light bulbs, replacing paper products, and helping maintain tools, equipment, and outdoor areas as needed. Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, creative environment are essential for this role.
Hours are flexible, from 2 hours a week & up.
