COVID-19 has severely affected our communities, and have disproportionately burdened older adults, Hispanic/Latinx and African American communities. Now there is a way you can join the fight against the coronavirus and reduce the burden of this pandemic in our local community.
The COVID-19 Community Research Partnership study is looking for volunteers to help spread the word about the study. We are taking a grassroots approach to ensure representation from Hispanic/Latinx and African American community members at every stage of the study. We are asking volunteers to promote the study within their networks (e.g., email, post on social media) and help with in-person engagement at designated community-based sites.
We will conduct an orientation with volunteers and shifts and locations will be available upon sign-up. Generally, the shifts will be 1-4:30PM MWF in collaboration with the Wake Forest mobile van unit.
