The Yadkin Family YMCA, in partnership with Love Out Loud Yadkin, will have the opportunity to help deserving children have confidence as they begin their new school year. The YMCA wants our kids to be ready for school and that is why we are planning on taking 100 children shopping for new school clothes, shoes and getting them new school supplies. Saturday, August 7, 2021, will be our shopping day. We expect this event to last approximately from 6:30am-2:00pm. Please consider helping us this year as we will need at least 100 volunteers so each child will have an adult shopping buddy. This is an exciting and rewarding event, and we can’t wait to hear back from you! If you aren’t able to participate on this day, ask how you can help out beforehand.
