Serve with SPARK on Tuesday, April 6th from 10-Noon to tie love into no-sew blankets for LOL Yadkin's Shore House. LOL Yadkin Shore House serves as a community space welcoming all people into connection with one another. These blankets will provide hospitality and warmth for the community. The great thing about no-sew blankets is that they serve as a sensory tool that gives comfort. The fringes help bring calm and focus.
If the weather is nice, we'll work outside at Burkhead United Methodist Church on Silas Creek Pkwy. If it is not, we will spread out inside.
If you would like to be a part of this service opportunity virtually, please mention this up sign-up. You can pick up fabric at BUMC by Monday, April 5th at 5pm. You can drop off your blanket by Friday, April 9th. A link will be sent following sign-up to participate virtually.
