Description

We're going strong.

Cycle/Recycle continues to receive donations of gently used bikes, which are stored in our warehouse.  We hold regularly scheduled Wrench workshops to repair the bikes to provide throughout the community during the year.  We need volunteers who are able to do minor repairs such as changing tires/tubes, adjusting brakes, doing tune ups and other basic skills.  We have professional mechanics at each workshop to assist you and teach bike repair.  Volunteers need their own tools.  Teens may have the opportunity to wash down bikes to get then ready. We plan to hold bike repair days at various times throughout the year.  Scheduled Wrench workshops:

2nd and 4th Thursdays beginning at 1:00 p.m.
1st and 3rd Saturdays starting at 2 p.m.
Mondays mornings at 9:30

We ask volunteers to give 2-3 hours of their time to come help fix up bikes for Gift Mart.

We have given over 940 bikes away in the past 4 years.  We also need men and women who are passionate about connecting with the kids to teach them safe bike riding and repairs.
