We are seeking people with a flexible schedule and a passion for working with children. In this role, you will Increase the anticipation and excitement of the wish by connecting with a wish family and creating meaningful actions that boost the child’s wish journey.
Requirements for this volunteer role:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Complete and submit volunteer paperwork.
- Complete a self-paid background check the cost is roughly $26 and are run once every three years.
- Complete our annual Conflict of Interest Form (due every January)
- Attend a Wish Booster training either in-person or online.
- Pick Up a t-shirt at the Make-A-Wish Office to wear during your Wish Boosters (or they can be shipped directly to you for a shipping fee of $5).
- Plan and deliver one booster per wish (i.e., care package, countdown calendar, send-off gift etc.)
- Sign up for a minimum of 3 boosters per year.
