The Salvation Army of Alamance County is in need of assistance for our monthly TEFAP day. The Salvation Army Emergency Food Pantry serves over 1,600 people per month. We are able to make this happen in huge part because of our partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank.
Each month we get the opportunity to order food in bulk. This volunteer opportunity is specifically to help us unload our food truck (this is typically about 15,000-17,000 lbs of food!) and organize all of the food that we receive in their respective storage rooms.
