What is a Community Reader?
A Community Reader is a volunteer role that shares the joy of reading with K–5 students by visiting classrooms to read aloud and engage students in stories. By reading to our K-5 students, Community Reader Volunteers help build students' reading confidence, spark imagination, and foster a positive connection between schools and the community.
