Volunteer: Outreach Alliance for Babies Processors

Processors will sort, hang/fold baby items, and prepare layette bags for partnering agencies to distribute to families participating in parenting classes.

 

A part of the Triad Dream Center since 2015, Outreach Alliance for Babies works with community agencies in Forsyth County that have identified clients with "significant financial" needs which prevent them from purchasing needed items for their child. The client may either be in the last trimester of pregnancy or have an infant, newborn to twelve months of age.

To date, over 2500 babies have received assistance from Outreach Alliance for Babies, Inc. A typical layette consists of a tote bag stocked with diapers, diaper wipes, wash cloths, baby wash, baby lotion, sleep and play sets, onesies, bibs, receiving blankets, etc.
