Our Re:dress Clothing Boutique began in March 2011 with the goal of providing gently used or new clothing items to families in Winston-Salem and the surrounding communities. As we provide these clothing items, each shopper is respected as a unique individual worthy of dignity and respect. Hope restored is our ultimate goal. The Re:dress program is open to everyone. Any individual desiring assistance, regardless of income status, may browse our store free of charge. One life changed, and one smile restored is the only reward we look for. Volunteer: Outreach Alliance for Babies ProcessorsProcessors will sort, hang/fold baby items, and prepare layette bags for partnering agencies to distribute to families participating in parenting classes.
A part of the Triad Dream Center since 2015, Outreach Alliance for Babies works with community agencies in Forsyth County that have identified clients with "significant financial" needs which prevent them from purchasing needed items for their child. The client may either be in the last trimester of pregnancy or have an infant, newborn to twelve months of age. To date, over 2500 babies have received assistance from Outreach Alliance for Babies, Inc. A typical layette consists of a tote bag stocked with diapers, diaper wipes, wash cloths, baby wash, baby lotion, sleep and play sets, onesies, bibs, receiving blankets, etc. Organization: Dream Center of Forsyth County Processors will sort, hang/fold baby items, and prepare layette bags for partnering agencies to distribute to families participating in parenting classes.
