Cancer Services is a United Way partner established in 1955 with a mission “Enhance Health, Life and Survivorship.” The agency provides hope for those facing cancer and for those supporting them through a variety of community-based programs and services.
What We Do
The agency provides hope for those facing cancer and for those supporting them through a variety of community-based programs and services including Patient Advocacy; Medication & Financial Assistance; Pink Broomstick® Breast Cancer Support; Equipment, Supplies, Wigs & Prostheses; Peer Support from Survivors; Transportation to Treatment; Library of Information & Inspiration, “Survive and Thrive!” Wellness Groups & Programs, Healing Hands Program, and Lifestyle Programs for Risk-Reduction & Survivorship. All of these programs are offered at no charge to cancer patients and their families.
