Who We Are

iCan House is an innovative nonprofit providing programs for neurodivergent children, teens, and adults. Programs meet in the afternoons and evenings, on weekdays, for those aged 8 years to their 60s.

A diagnosis is not required to participate, though many are neurodivergent.  At iCan House, we meet people where they are and build upon their strengths.

At iCan House, it's about what you CAN do!

Participants develop self-awareness and learn concrete social and life skills. They experience a sense of belonging and purpose, increasing their self-esteem and confidence.

Using our innovative curriculum, participants learn ways to cope, express their feelings, and deal with the real world, while parents are supported and learn strategies to help their children.

At evening social events, participants try out their newly acquired social and independence skills.

What We Do

Social skills clubs are provided Monday through Friday for children, teens, and adults. We meet at local churches and various places in the community.

Weekly small group sessions are 90 minutes, while the social events are 2.5 hours. Volunteers participate in group activities, getting to know members as they learn and have fun.

We also provide training to groups, including law enforcement officers, first responders, educators, social workers, and students, while also supporting interns and volunteers.
