Beloved Community Food Pantry/Comunidad Amada Despensa de Alimentos, is now officially open as a bilingual food pantry for the residents of Southside Winston-Salem and beyond. We are a partner agency with Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, which allows us to provide ample nutritious food for the community. In honoring our goal to respect the dignity of every human being, we offer client choice- meaning that our clients choose their food, rather than we select it for them. In the time before the food pantry opens, we offer hospitality: coffee, snacks, and the opportunity to create community with one another.
Our pantry is led and supported by volunteers from many different churches. We have opportunies to unload food, organize the pantry, and serving families on pantry days.
