The Shepherd's Center of Greater Winston-Salem

The Shepherd's Center of Greater Winston-Salem was founded in 1985 and is an affiliate of the Aging Forward Alliance. An interfaith ministry that promotes and supports successful aging by providing direct services, volunteer opportunities and enrichment programs for older adults.

We provide opportunities for older adults to use their experience, skills, values, and gifts in significant roles to support aging in the community. Enhance life satisfaction through the discovery of inner resources, lifelong learning, caring relationships, creative expression and community service. Involve and sustain older adults who desire to live independently in the community.
