Who We Are

For the last 55 years, Youth Focus has provided essential services and support to youth in crisis and experiencing homelessness in the Triad and surrounding areas. Our supportive housing programs provide life changing opportunities and access to support and resources for vulnerable youth to help them achieve safety, security, and success

What We Do

Youth Focus supportive housing programs include:

Act Together Youth Shelter - Short-term,  emergency housing for youth ages 11-17. 12 beds, DSS licensed, Safe Place program hub. 

My Sister Susan's House - Maternity home for pregnant/parenting youth ages 16-21. Longer-term transitional housing for up to 18 months, DSS licensed. 

HEARTH Transitional Living Program - Longer-term transitional housing for up to 18 months for youth ages 18-21 who are aging out of foster care or experiencing homelessness. 

HEARTH Beyond - Rental assistance and case management for up to 24 months for youth ages 18-24. 

**All Youth Focus programs are supported by Safe Haven, providing trauma-informed individual and group counseling, family mediation, and clinical support.
