Epilepsy Alliance North Carolina

Epilepsy Alliance North Carolina is dedicated to supporting those impacted by epilepsy in local communities by confronting the spectrum of challenges created by seizures.

Epilepsy affects 1 in 26 people. It can happen to any one of us, at any time, at any age.  In the United States approximately 3 million people have epilepsy with 200,000 new cases diagnosed each year. In North Carolina, approximately 371,400 people have epilepsy. One in 10 of us will have a seizure at some time in our lifetime.
