Join us for an exciting event for students (of all ages), educators, and families on August 8th!
Fellow students and community members will share inspiring stories of their pursuit of education and discuss the intersectionality of identity, community, and education, as we explore these themes within the book Dear America: Notes from an Undocumented Citizen, by Jose Antonio Vargas, designated the Book With Purpose of summer 2023 by Bookmarks.
There will be an opportunity to connect with community resources like Crosby Scholars and Big Brothers Big Sisters, learn about scholarships from Hispanic League and Forsyth Tech, and enjoy light hors d'oeuvres. Free books available from Bookmarks while supplies last!!
