Every student. Every day. How can we better ensure every student is engaged in high-quality, relevant learning experiences so they will graduate with interpersonal, academic, and workforce skills to compete globally and contribute to society? For our families and caregivers, community and business partners, how can WS/FCS achieve its mission to be the best place to learn and work through excellence, collaboration, and inclusiveness?
Students (middle school and older), families and caregivers, community members and leaders, educators, district-staff, and advocates are invited to join WS/FCS for one of four dynamic, collaborative, interactive, and engaging opportunities to learn about the North Carolina Portrait of a Graduate which WS/FCS has adopted. These sessions will also allow our district and community to build a shared vision for how we continue to transform WS/FCS and the educational experiences for all of students hopes and aspirations.
Session Dates and locations are below. At each dinner will be served from 5:00-5:30pm before the engagement session, known as a Futures CoLab, from 5:30-7:30pm. Childcare and interpretation services will be provided at each event.
