Contribute to a transformative experience for clinical/medical staff on Tuesday, September 16th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm by volunteering for our upcoming Poverty Simulation! Adopt one of several essential services roles (banker, social services agent, teacher, health care worker, etc.) to simulate one "month" in poverty for participants who will play the roles of various family members living in poverty. You will be provided with role assignments, instructions for your role, and any other details the week before the simulation takes place. Instructions will also be available day-of. Check out our webpage detailing the Poverty Simulation and watch the video if you want to learn more about what to expect (https://www.crisiscontrol.org/what-we-do/advocacy/poverty-simulations-and-living-on-the-edge.html). Reach out to me at the contact information below to confirm your interest or ask any additional questions. Volunteers may be high school age and older. Thank you for considering playing a part in this unforgettable and impactful program to raise awareness of the neighbors in our community who are struggling!
