Are you a summer night owl? Do you enjoy working with teens? Help the City of Greensboro make this summer memorable for thousands of teens! Our Summer Night Lights program needs adult and teen volunteers that can lend a hand during our Greensboro Sportsplex events. Hundreds of teens join us to play basketball, soccer, football, volleyball, and hang out with friends each Friday night. Volunteers are needed to help greet teens, help with registration table, run game clocks, serve food, and monitor the facility. The doors open at 7:00pm and volunteers need to be available to attend a pre-event volunteer orientation at 6:45pm. Doors close at 11:00pm. We are flexible with volunteer shifts but would prefer for volunteers to stay throughout the event. THIS EVENT DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR GCS SERVICE-LEARNING HOURS.
