Description

Description: Water Celebration is an event hosted to celebrate Drinking Water Week.  Drinking Water Week is a unique opportunity for water professionals and the communities they serve to join together to recognize the importance of water in our lives. The Water Resources department will have an education table display and hands on water related activities for children at the Cultural Arts center. We will also showcase the Water Bar at Lebauer Park.

Volunteer Duties: We would like volunteers to help facilitate activities for the kids. We will provide the supplies and training we just need volunteers that are willing to help educate our children about our water. If people are available to assist with planning, we will accept those volunteers as well.

Event Time:  We will set up at 12:30pm and be prepared to host activities at 1:15pm.

Location: Cultural Arts Center and Lebuarer Park

Parking: Volunteers can park in the Church Street Parking Deck

Attire:  Volunteers should wear something comfortable. We will supply a volunteer name badge
