The volunteer will become an unpaid member of the YAMM Board of Directors.
Board members duties consist of, but are not limited to:
- Attend virtual board meetings and related meetings
- Actively participate in committee works
- Volunteer, accepts, and complete assignments in a timely manner
- Stay informed about the organization, prepare for meetings, review and make comments concerning reports and minutes
- Build a working relationship with board members
- Participate in fundraising events
- Member must possess at least one (1) of the below skill and/or values to bring to the board below such as:
- Have the influence to persuade others for a need of the organization;
- Be able to make phone calls to solicit donors or in-kind donation
- Finance/Budgeting Skills
- Public relations
- Be able to give personal financial contributions
- Marketing Skills
- Fundraising Skills
- Donation Skills
