In an effort to erase food insecurity, The Salvation Army of Alamance County helps over 1,600 people monthly with non-perishable goods and fresh produce. If you are looking for a way to get involved and be a part of our mission to help combat hunger, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Giving just a few hours a week can help feed your community.
We are currently in need of honest and reliable drivers to assist us with picking up food items from vendors and delivering them back to our Food Pantry.
Volunteer opportunities are available Monday-Friday! This is a flexible volunteer opportunity where people, groups, and/or organizations can choose to assist us with pick-ups daily, weekly, or monthly.
