Participation as a volunteer is not only an opportunity to serve the college but also a way to experience the joy and camaraderie of the Guilford community. The success of the commencement is a testament to the collective effort of our faculty, staff, alumni, friends, and family. Your commitment is greatly appreciated and directly impacts the conclusion of not only the ceremony but also our students' academic journey at Guilford College.
Duties: Volunteers are requested to arrive by 11:00 a.m. on the day of the ceremony. The tasks will involve disassembling and packing up chairs, stages, and decorations in the ceremony area, as well as ensuring that the site returns to its pristine condition. This may include waste collection and sorting to promote Guilford's commitment to sustainability.
